Ransom County Highway Department is the home of the Highway Superintendent and 7 equipment operators.

The Highway Department is in charge of maintaining and repairing County roads & bridges which include:

• Road signs

• Ditch mowing

• Ditch washouts

• Right of way issues

• Blading surfaces

• Snow removal

• Asphalt patching

• Crack sealing
