The Ransom County Motor Vehicle Branch office is available by appointments from 8:30 to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday. To schedule an appointment please call 1-855-633-6835 or visit the Motor Vehicle website at www.dot.nd.gov.
The Ransom County Treasurer’s office is a full-service Motor Vehicle Branch Office. We offer vehicle licenses renewal, title transfers, duplicate titles, tabs, and registration cards, weight increase/decrease, and a variety of other motor vehicle registration services.
Vehicle Registration Kiosk
On March 1st, 2021 a yellow motor vehicle kiosk was installed in the courthouse. This kiosk will renew your vehicle tabs. It is located on the 2nd floor landing and the courthouse is open from 8:00am – 4:30pm.
The kiosk guides you through the renewal process including payment with a credit card and a registration card will be issued at that time. Just bring in your renewal notice that you received in the mail from Bismarck or your vehicle registration card to start the process.
A service fee is assessed by Ransom County which is retained in the county general fund.
